The scenery above should give you a good idea of the Lake Michigan coastline that lies not 100 feet from my Grandma's back door. Every morning the routine is the same; get up, put on bathing suit, get out of the house before mom heaps tons of chores and sunscreen on you, run down to the beach, play. Unlike most routines, I am pretty good at sticking to this one.

First Stop: Michigan
The scenery above should give you a good idea of the Lake Michigan coastline that lies not 100 feet from my Grandma's back door.
